About us
We are Gaucho Porá, specialists in small game hunting in Argentina with 20 years of experience in the area.
We were born motivated by the passion of sharing hunting and fishing with friends from all over the world.
In 2004 we began hunting activity in the north of Santa Fe (Argentina), considered a real paradise for lovers of water birds.
We have a lodge strategically located in San Javier (Santa Fe province) and a hotel in the town of Añatuya (Santiago del Estero).
Argentina has a well-deserved worldwide recognition for its amazing fauna, the richness of its landscapes, its geographical extension and the great kindness of their people.
Among the birds, the duck, partridge, pigeon and dove stand out, all included in our various options.

What does Gaucho Porá mean?
The word gaucho refers to the “creoles” settlers who habit the Argentine countryside. Porá means nice or beautiful.
The name of our organization means that we are friendly and kind people, willing to welcome you and that we are well-trained to make your experience a trip you will never forget.

WHAT MONTHS DO THE HUNTING SEASON INCLUDE?
The Duck and Partridge season begin on May 1 and last until August 15 . There may be some time fluctuations in the season, with the inclusion of more season weeks..
DO I NEED A VISA TO ENTER ARGENTINA?
Citizens from most parts of the world don’t need a visa to enter in Argentina.
Only passport issued by the competent authority of your country of origin is required
CAN I ENTER MY WEAPONS IN ARGENTINA?
Yes, weapons can be brought into the country, but a previous procedure is required at the Argentine Consulate closest to your residence in your own country.
The recommendation of the organization is to rent them in our own Lodges to avoid any kind of inconveniences.
We have Beretta, Bernardelli and Franchi brand rifles, calibers 12 and 20.
